Consistently good service

I've been using Audioread for about a year now, mainly for turning long research papers into audio. This last subscription renewal was just as smooth as always. The Apple Podcasts sync worked perfectly right away, no fuss. The voice selection is still great, and I really like that they keep adding more natural-sounding AI voices. Mostly solid, minor snag

I got the annual subscription after trying the free week, mostly for converting articles. The article to podcast converter works well most of the time, and the voices are definitely better than other text-to-speech I've used. I even used it for an e-book to speech once, which was a nice bonus. My only small gripe is that one time a paywalled article didn't convert properly, even after I thought I'd followed all the steps. It eventually worked on a second attempt, but it was a bit frustrating initially. Still, the overall value for what I pay is good, especially with the speed control and offline listening.
